General
ToneForge is an intelligent online mastering platform. Upload your audio file and our engine analyzes loudness, dynamics, spectrum, and stereo width to produce a tailored master for your track.
ToneForge is built for independent musicians, producers, podcasters, and content creators who want professional-sounding masters without expensive studio sessions.
Yes, a free account is required to upload and master tracks. Registration takes seconds and only requires your email.
Mastering
After you upload a track, our engine performs a detailed audio analysis measuring LUFS loudness, true peak, dynamic range, spectral balance, and stereo width. Based on these measurements, it makes intelligent decisions about EQ, compression, limiting, and stereo processing to produce a polished master.
Most tracks are processed in 2-5 minutes. Processing time depends on file length, format, and current queue load. Pro and Studio plans get priority processing for faster turnaround.
ToneForge uses an adaptive engine that makes smart decisions for your track. The current version handles mastering automatically to deliver consistent, professional results. Advanced customization options are planned for future releases.
After mastering, you get visual charts comparing your original and mastered track, including waveform, loudness over time, and frequency spectrum displays. This helps you understand exactly what changes were applied.
